Welcome to Acupuncture: Acupuncture is used to rebalance the flow of energy in the body. Acupuncture is effective at treating pain and illnesses and restoring the body, mind, and soul. Acupuncture is a component of Traditional Chinese Medicine in which hair thin, sterile needles are strategically inserted into points around the body. Acupuncture is used to rebalance the flow of energy or “qi” in the body to alleviate pain and help restore balance. At our office we use acupuncture to effectively treat a variety of ailments including back pain, knee pain, neck and shoulder pain, autoimmune pain, fertility and female reproductive conditions, urinary conditions, digestive disturbances, psycho emotional issues and more. Your first visit includes a full consultation and treatment. The first appointment is about an hour. The doctor will give you a personalized recommended treatment plan after your first appointment. This is for New Patients using insurance. After this treatment you may rebook online as a Returning Patient with insurance. Please look at your schedule when booking your first appointment that you have the availability to come in for at least a few follow ups. Thank you Insurance: We are In Network with Aetna, Horizon Blue Cross Blue Shield, United Healthcare, Veterans Community Network Optum, Meritain Health, Aetna Medicare, 1199 National Benefit Fund, Nippon, Horizon BCBS, Empire BCBS, Anthem BCBS, FepBlue, GEHA, and Braven Health. Most Aetna, BCBS, and UHC plans have benefits, but not all. Some plans have deductibles. Most PPO plans have benefits. HMO, Horizon Omnia, NJ Health Family Care, YHZ, NJO do not. Cigna is out of network, but may have great benefits. Great coverage for: Teachers with Aetna/Meritain Health Aetna Medicare & Braven Health. Please book your first appointment at least a few days out, and you will automatically receive an email with a link to verify your insurance, and just fill out the form. Reach out to us if you want to know your benefits before your appointment. For same day or next day appointments or if you don't verify your insurance with us, you may have to pay upfront, but we will credit or adjust it if you have coverage. Insurance generally only covers chronic or pain management conditions. Please note that Fertility, Hormone Regulation, Autoimmune, and more are an extra charge. We are happy to work with you.
