New and Returning Patients Welcome/Welcome back to Acupuncture This Treatment is specially designed for Labor Induction: Starting at 39 weeks, acupuncture can be used to safely promote labor induction and an easy pregnancy. This treatment can also help breeched baby at 39 weeks and turn the baby to a better position. Acupuncture is a component of Traditional Chinese Medicine in which hair thin, sterile needles are strategically inserted into points around the body. Acupuncture is used to rebalance the flow of energy or “qi” in the body to alleviate pain and help restore balance. At our office we use acupuncture to effectively treat a variety of ailments including back pain, knee pain, neck and shoulder pain, autoimmune pain, improve fertility and female reproductive conditions, urinary conditions, digestive disturbances, psycho emotional issues and more. Your first visit includes a full consultation. This appointment is about an hour. All treatments are personalized for each patient. The doctor will give you a personalized recommended treatment plan after your first appointment. Moxibustion is generally part of the treatment as well.
