Service Description
Cupping therapy has seen a resurgence in recent years. Cupping is an ancient, yet effective technique in which vacuum suction is applied to areas typically on the back to draw out toxins, improve circulation, improve oxygenation, improve bronchial and asthmatic conditions and reduce pain. The procedure is relatively pain free and the results are lasting. Gua Sha & Tui Na are two massage techniques which apply principles of Chinese Medicine Meridian Therapy to traditional massage. Gua Sha involves a painless scraping technique which incorporates massage oil to break up scar tissues and improve bloodflow. Tui Na is a push/pull massage technique in which layers of the fascia are opened along the meridians or channels. This treatment will release knots in the muscles and clear pathways between the channels and network vessels; unblocking areas of stagnation, restoring energy to the body, and relieving pain.
